Every month someone should google liero with each platform; then nothing will go unnoticed.

Yeah I downloaded this homebrew some time ago, however I am unable to play it because my second wiimote won't connect Sad

(It doesn't let you start the match until 2 controllers are connected)

But looking through the menus it looks pretty complete. According to the help screen it's a "liero clone for wii and PC" so maybe someone could check that out?

I got the controller to connect and spent some time playing it today! It's by no means a "perfect" clone, but it's definitely got the classic liero gameplay element. All the classic weapons are there plus a few extra ones that you can turn on or off on the menu (including some pretty creative ones like "bug basket" that spawn insects or "nuke larpa", a bazooka that drops nuke trails). The controls were a little funky at first, but I guess they're more logical for the wiimote layout as opposed to a keyboard. The biggest difference is the physics, which seem a little extreme at times. The worms jump high and fall quickly, and the ninja rope is a bit too springy. The physics don't get in the way of playing, but veteran liero players might find them particularly awkward. Altogether it's pretty fun to play, but I'd much rather like to see a more accurate clone (like openliero Smiley ) ported to the Wii. Maybe I'll work on doing this myself, but no promises just yet Tongue
