Well there must be some real reason to make people go through the trouble of recompiling gusanos, they could have just replaced the default mod with baseg3a using the name as default if that was the only thing...

Oh, I also forgot to say:

Apart from the code issue, very powerful mod. The menu is neat (though seemingly incomplete), the levels are wonderful, the weapons well made and such... :>

Glad to hear that sth else than complaining on manual misspellings etc. at last;P

Anyway, the lack of 'setup' being done in menu is because there's no possibility to permanently save the changes through the LUA so if there was 'setup' option with keys and stuff settings people would start moaning about lack of saving option permanently so... ;P

As it usually happens we also have already discovered some bugs in network game so that some kind of patch will be released soon too ;>

The reason it isn't in gus in the first place is that you already have full access to sockets, so having file access would create huge vulnerabilities in the game - it could do all sorts of dangerous junk...

You'd better! I want to make some sort of mod which writes itself with fragments and stuff :O

Make it able to manipulate bitmaps more too please - so you can make mini viewports and junk Shocked - and overlay distorted versions of the captured viewport bitmap to make evil effects :0
