Hopefully this explains some of the things that have been going on lately, such as me being totally absent.

Well, I'm in the hospital, diagnozed with Leukemia, which is some form of cancer of the bone marrow.

It started all as a normal sicknes. I had tentam week coming up, so I downed some paracetamols and did them (4 in all, +supervising some for $$$). It ended with a pretty tame party, and I ended up sleeping at my girlfriend's place. The Saturday after that, I was a sick mess. My parents brought me home, and next Sunday I went to a quick-doctor. He thought of a heavy sickness, and sent me back home. The Tuesday after, I again went to see a doctor. He checked me, and sent me to a hospital. I went by ambulance, which was pretty cool, even while I felt sick like hell. The hospital turned out to be the academic hospital of the Vrije Universiteit, which is where I study! This went uphill fast.

After arriving, I was checked lots, lots of blood was checked, I got lots of medicins, and all went better.

Next week, chemotherapy will start. This means I'll be sick lots, and probably bald  Cool

Prospects are okayish, and my incredible mind powers will surely help me through this all. See you all arround

Thanks for all the nice wishes! And yes, I'm still pretty optimistic (as always).

Fear not for the 3dhax, btw: I've thought out some very haxy z-buffer, only need to finish up the screen drawing and shading functions. Also, transparancy will be an option, so it'll be pretty nifty (if not useless eye candy).

Hmm klinkt niet al te best, maar het klinkt alsof je er erg positief tegenover staat. Zo'n plotselinge ziekte lijkt me best erg.

Veel sterkte met alle behandelingen!

(I just wanted to say that in Dutch, jffs)

I believe there is no 1 word translation for it in this context. It just means "I hope you get well (soon)", it can also mean "improvement" I think.
