Just in time! Cranked out a mod as fast as possible, and this is the result:

It needs levels and such... But my drawing is sucky. It has lua-stuffs. No alpha blending. No alpha channels either. 3 weapons. 9 force-powers. 9 colours. Lots of sounds. No music. No humour. Some balance. A readme. Two combo-moves. No ninjarope. 2 extra keys. Special console background. 11 wu_pixels for each saber. Dark Forces stolen HUD. Icons. Force.

ToDo:
  • Make lightsabers sexy
  • Balance things (Weaker lightning, weaker sabers)
  • Make a level!
  • Add stuff (more moves! blasters! nukes!)
  • Add capes to worms
Done:
  • Fixed some weird bugs
  • Add 'hummmmmm' sounds again
  • Fixed some problem with sprite filenames
  • Bind colourchange to something not-stupid (+P#_COLOUR) (now removed)
  • Add 'force' pool (ammo for all secondary weapons)
  • Add force-power usage properly
  • Add saber moves
  • Sync things (saber colours)
  • Reduce laggyness (smaller lights, shorter trails)
  • Add secondary weapon (forcepowers) selection menu (not needed now)
  • Make netplay work again
  • Add saber throwing
  • Maybe add darkmode-friendlyness
  • Add weapon type selection menu (double, dual, single, guns?) so cheesy switching all the time is disabled

wow! great job!
I like the effects the sounds and the gameplay, it feels so acrobatic :>

I have some suggersions, make the weapons use something else than ammo, like force. You could script it with lua so that all weapons drain from your "force" thingy, then you would be unable to make one of those super jumps right after electroshocking some guy :>
Then different attacks would drain more than others.

The electro shock thingy makes almost no damage or is too hard to hit with it, perhaps you should make it more efficient.

Ag, I'll post more later maybe.

Thanks for the help, and the good ideas for what to add/fix. I really hope to do something about the laggyness, I can't play multiplayer with more than 2 persons myself.

And thanks for helping me make screenshots, AK48, DarkWind and Jonny. There are some really nice ones :>

The screenshots are not doing justice to the mod even.

Another suggestion, maybe the jump lightsaber should make a bit more damage while jumping, to balance it compared to all the double saber weapons.

Maybe make it so you do more damage when you attack, so you don't just have to stand around to kill a few people. Smiley

The bad thing about it now though is that I have to invent a jedi name. >:0

Some weapons shouldnt make more harm on the attack, specially the double ones which are already quite spammy Smiley

I wouldn't suggest darkmode for this mod, just because the darkness may or may not kill the already beautiful lights <3

You may want to do something special with the dig function (force shield? dunno).

The problem with making moves actually take up a weapon slot is that they become less practical and more difficult to use in battle.

And of course, once we somehow figure out how to do this, have lightsaber-lightsaber interaction. The second that can be implemented, this mod will become twice as good :O

here some suggestions: if you throw a lightsaber, it should return and you should have to wait till one second after it returned after the last shot. (the saber should follow the player, who shot it (like the orb in techtest), but it shouldn't do any damage to the player, who shot it.
second one: why don't you add some other weapons (e.g. laser rifles, which can be blocked with a lightsabre)?

Wow! Really nice ;] And it is not slow, what is a nice surprise. However, I've played with my neighbor and the game was extremely chaotic - the wormjedis need 50x more hp, because for now it is "who presses fire on right distance first" game. Not bad, but just too unpredictable. And - imho you can get rid of ropes. They just don't fit there, and you could use rope key combo to change colours ;]

A feature which I have requested for WingMod would be very useful here - I asked for weapon ammo types. For example, shotgun and super shotgun use the same ammo, but in diffrent numbers. They have the same ammo pool, but shotgun uses 1 ammo per shot and super shotgun uses two. In this mod there would be just a force ammo type and every weapon would use this instead of having their own pools.
