Hows it going? Much left to do? Many more private testing versions after current 019?
It's a nice mod btw. I really like the skin.

I am struggling with the maps and some balancing. And I had some new uni problems... and thus no time to work on WH.

Looks like there is some limit reached because I can't download it.
Also better update first post.

Edit:

People can use this link:
http://powerhuhn.net/depot/gusanos/mods/wh_09c_022.zip

Edit2:
Cool level. Very beatuiful. Missing some sound effects and maybe the fire should damage.
Also a few sprites use PNG instead of png, might result in errors in Linux.

The level will be improved, both with sounds and some kickable objects.

And republika... it has a -per-hour- limit, so sometimes you just need to wait ^^

Incoming!

Changelist:
-Added two fast-reload weapons: PlasmaGun and Shotgun
-PlasmaPistol, LasCannon, Bolters - less CPU-using
-PlasmaPistol cooling is 2x better, but it also blows up earlier
-ThunderShield - fixed syncing, there were problems with syncing the weapon on more-than-1vs1 games
-Grenades - better syncing, removed explosion time variation
-Map Buker: Added sounds, fixed render layers
-Hud now shows heat of overheating weapons
-fixed networkPlayerInit
-fixed DedicatedServer compatibility (a bit); still, I recommend using second full Gusanos exec working as a dedic instead of using Dedserv. It still has some bugs that may cause LUA syncing no to work properly.
-and some minor fixes/changes not worth mentioning here.

Its getting really l33t Cheesy
The flamethrower is cute and l33t, I like how you keep burning for a while Smiley The hud is stylish too, the flickering when you are about to blow yourself up is power.

Nice :-).

Maybe make the bunker flame you like the flamer (so you burn for a bit) and add some ouch sound?

Add sound to empty shells hitting ground (like in doom).

*Jetpack should always be directed down (you can still stear somewhat with movement keys, will look much better and now you will be able to aim and fire in air).
*Jetpackflame should damage player/dirt.
*More weapons should remove dirt.
*Longer cooldown for jetpack (if you fast tap it now oyu can use it forever).
*Very slow to walk upstairs.
*Remove underscore in weapon names.

* But I'm now completely used to how the jetpack works in WH, I don't want it to change  Undecided
* Yes
* Inderdaad, definatly
* Fast tap flies much slower though. Maybe a bit longer cooldown.
* Inderdaad
* Yup

Btw latest version is 028 right? With the toxin missile?

I didn't even know that I sent it to anyone... or, I didn't even know that I zipped it Cheesy

Uthar's suggestion replies:
-Vertical only jetpack means no way of accelerating horizontally, so it would greatly reduce mobility.
-Unsyncable
-Of course - but I always forget to change this ^^
-Cooldown of jetpack is a hard thing to decide about. Actual reduces realism (flying forever), but makes the game more advanced and less walking-only... however, actual cooldown will be probably a bit longer (10-15%).
-I am not sure if it is possible to do anything with this :/
-...and underscoring is a leftover from 09b where words after space weren't shown Smiley

Version 028 will be only a bugfix and balance change to 027. Toxin missile works bad with current netcode. Actually, without randomness and shooting position syncing, I can't even do other races (orks and chaos marines without random weapons? Yeh... Eldars are quite possible, though there will be some homing weapons that can unsync, too).
