Is there a chance of implementing mouse support? it would make aiming a hell of a lot easier. And the extremely low resolution is.. eww.

Low resolution is art. It loses the feel when it's in high-res.

I know mouse support lacks honour, but it would cause our community to grow massively... Just look at soldat.
I would demand however, that mouse aiming was either a server-side var, or mod specific. That way we can still have servers that require real skill, not 12-year-old-counter-strike-twitch skill.

That's one of the nice things of liero like games. Everyone can play the game and still have skill. Besides that, the game is mod-able and is nostalgic.

There only need to be LUA things for MouseX and MouseY and the aiming could easily be added. And I guess there's already something like that but hidden.

Or perhaps not the soldat/crimsonland way, but steering using just mouse-y, still it would make it a bit more precise, but not so much.

i dont know if we really want to kill the liero game feeling just because we want the community to grow. liero is special, thats why i like it. if most people start to play gusanos with mouse, i will play lierox instead.
beside that, i think the gusanos community will be large enough
