Two Liero clone releases in two days? It must be Christmas.  Grin

The Gusanos .9 BETA has been officially released, it is mostly intended for developers but anyone can play it.

You can see all the details about the release in this thread on ComSer, or you could go directly to the newly designed Gusanos site here.

Just remember to try the techtest map, so you can feel the power of THORB! Smiley

Wow, Gusanos runs at 100 FPS on this piece of shit. Pretty good.

I want more mods... i thought there are hundreds of mods just waiting to release with gusanos but there are only one i have. Maybe there is more mods but can you tell me where can i get them?

This is a beta release to allow modders to make mods for the final release. Therefore there aren't alot of mods available yet. There are a few in the Modding board though.

Gusanos unfortunatly lacks a few things from 100% compability with liero, but most of them don't seem impossible to repair if there would be a strong, coordinated efort to bug Gliptic and Basara Grin

From what we have achieved with Jerrec it seems like after the 133 (or g pro) is finished a web tool that'd let you upload a lwp (lierokit weapon) file and get a few files to replace in the mod dir is perectly doable. But first learning ways of converting liero to gusanos have to be mastered, and that isn't anything easy.
